Wright, Donald C. age 82, of Minneapolis died Nov. 24, 2013 at 12:02 am. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur Harry Wright and Adeline Emma (Jones) Wright; and previous wife, Marlene Dorothea (Wagner) Wright. Donald is survived by his wife, Dianne Harris Wright; his sons John A. Wright and Russell A. Wright (wife Pamela Huetson) and his grandsons Gabriel E. L. Wright and Samuel A. L. Wright; and his daughter, Victoria Rei Ristow (husband August) and granddaughters Elizabeth M. Aldrich and Jaclyn A. Aldrich. A long-time resident of the Kenwood area, Donald graduated from West High School (1949) and the University of Minnesota (1953) with honors. He was a Beta Gamma Sigma member at the University. He served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War and began his career with the Dayton-Hudson Corp. He founded his own accounting and financial consulting practice in Minneapolis in 1965 and was a Certified Public Accountant and active member of the Society of Medical-Dental Management Consultants and the National Society of Accountants. Donald was a long-time deacon of Grace Presbyterian Church and member since 1958 of the Grand Lodge of Minnesota of Ancient and Accepted Masons, Lake Harriet Lodge, as was his father, grandfather and great grandfather (Wales) and the Shrine. Donald was the grandson of one of the founding pioneers of Moorhead, Minnesota, Christian H. Wriegt and his wife, Anna Krabbenhoft, who immigrated from Felm in Schleswig. His family maintained a large farm in Sabin, Minnesota, where he spent most of his childhood summers. He taught us to respect each other. Respect is the foundation of love.
