Joan E. Warner Obituary

Warner, Joan E. Age 92, of Edina, passed away peacefully on June 20. Preceded in death by beloved husband, H. David; brothers, Art and Jack (Barb) Erdall. Survived by sons, David (Margie) and Ted; brother, Dick (Barb); sister-in-law, Jean; 7 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren. Joan graduated from Washburn High School and the University of Minnesota. She was an active alumna and chapter advisor of Gamma Phi Society for many decades, a huge sports enthusiast and longtime supporter of U of M athletics. Member of Woman's Club and member of the Minnesota Tennis Hall of Fame. Joan loved fishing, hunting, antiquing, needlepointing, knitting and her cottage at Minaki, Ontario, and her many years vacationing with family and friends at Tanque Verde Ranch in Arizona. People remember her for her great smile and willingness to help others. Memorial service Friday, June 28, 11 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1917 Logan Ave S., Mpls. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery. Donations to Vitreoretinal Surgery Foundation. Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
