Joan (Margulies) Spicer Obituary

Spicer, Joan (Margulies) Joan Spicer, incredibly pretty, smart, and loving, passed away at the too young age of 82. Wonderfully smart, graduating the University of Minnesota 1953 Phi Beta Kappa. Life Master in her favorite pastime of nationally competitive bridge. Independent and competent running her own business. And unmatched as a loving mother. Preceded in death by father, George Margulies; mother, Fannie; and sister, Dawn Cottle. Survived by husband of 59 years, Myles; sons, Jonathan, Paul (Sharon); daughter, Jane Spicer; and grandchildren, Natalie, Michael, Stevie and Tony. Taken down by the scourge of Alzheimer's, but leaving us with decades of happy memories that will never be forgotten. Thanks to the staff at The Glenn memory center for caring attention. Memorials to Alzheimer's Assoc, or charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements to be announced later pending return of family members from overseas. Hodroff-Epstein 612-871-1234
