John L. Neveaux Obituary

Neveaux, John L. Age 84 recently of Eden Prairie, for many years of Excelsior, passed away peacefully August 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dona and Loretto. He is deeply missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Frances; brother, Robert J. Neveaux, and his children Jack (Mary), Patricia (Marty), Michael (Connie), and Nanci (Gary); grandchildren (9), Jocelyn, Lindsay, Alex, Kevin, Andrea, Emily, Rachel, Daniel, Madeline; great-grandchildren (2) Benjamin, Keira. John was a 1952 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy and had a long, related career. He was proud of his military service in the Korean Conflict, his many years of public service with the City of Chanhassen, and his involvement in the Excelsior business community as proprietor of Excelsior Pharmacy. In addition to being a consultant on FDA regulatory matters, John helped many young pharmacists as the Director of the externship program at the U of M Pharmacy School. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 680 Mill St., Excelsior (952-474-8868). A gathering of family and friends will take place for one hour prior to the mass at the church on Tuesday. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to People Reaching Out to People (PROP) of Eden Prairie at 14700 Martin Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.
