Kenneth R. Lenhart Obituary

Lenhart, Kenneth R. age 95, of Milwaukee passed away on May 7, 2013. Preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (Dean) Lenhart; and his second wife, Mary (Colt) Lenhart; and parents, Ernest and Lorean Lenhart of Minneapolis. Survived by his son, Dr. Richard Lenhart (Lois), Hernando, Florida; daughter, Mrs Judy Lenhart Davis (Norm), Plymouth, Minnesota; and daughter, Mrs. Sally Lenhart Klepper (Mark), Avon Lake, Ohio. Also survived by grandchildren, Dr. James Lenhart (Amy), Sarasota, Florida, Mrs. Laura Lenhart Mcnamara (Nathan), Lewis Center, Ohio, Mrs. Rachel Davis Taber (Ryan), Sturbridge, MA, and Mrs. Shannon Klepper Mosher (Greg), Avon Lake, Ohio. Also survived by loving great-grandchildren, Ella and Jack Lenhart, Aidan Taber and Ava, Anna and Ryan McNamara. He is also survived by stepson, Todd Colt, Menomonee Falls, WI, step-grandchildren, Michael and Brett Colt; and devoted step-grandaughter, Rebecca Meinhardt (Mark), Hartford, WI. Ken was born in Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He served in the army in World War II where he was a S/Sgt. During his entire professional career he was employed by Cargill, Inc serving as the manager of the Maumee, Ohio branch for many years. He was a member of Rotary and a past president of the Toledo Board of Trade. After retiring his residences included Thiensville and Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Visitation Wednesday, May 15 from 12:00 - 2:00 at Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, Minneapolis with a graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to American Heart Association. Northeast Chapel 612-781-6828 2901 Johnson Street NE, Mpls.
