Mandy Marie Matula Obituary

Matula, Mandy Marie Age 24 of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, passed away May 2nd, 2013. Survived by parents Wayne and Lisa Matula, and brother Steven Matula. Mandy was a seasonal employee for The City of Eden Prairie in the parks department and also employed by Bruinswick Bowling. She also was a Herbalife Nutrition Coach who strived at helping others achieve their personal goals. Mandy was vibrant, carefree, kind, and most importantly loved others more than herself. A graduate of Eden Prairie High School class of 2007, Mandy also received a Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) in 2011. Mandy was also an exceptional softball player, serving as a captain for the Eden Prairie softball team and bringing her team to win their conference and was awarded the All State title during high school. Mandy also played division II softball as a Bulldog at UMD. In addition to her dedication to softball, Mandy served on the Eden Prairie marching band, playing the alto saxophone. Mandy also served her community as a Girl Scout and received the Silver Award. A celebration service is scheduled for November 10th, 2013 at 3 pm at Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Road, Eden Prairie, (952) 926-1884 Please join us as we honor and remember Mandy.
