Hagen, Patricia Julia Bohy age 76, of Bloomington, MN, peacefully passed into heaven surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 18, 2013, after her fourth courageous battle with Ewing's sarcoma. In her words, Patty's main interest in life was people. She loved to travel, read, watch movies, attend the Guthrie Theater, and most especially loved spending time with her family and friends playing games or cards. Patty was born on July 6, 1936 in Moline, IL to Frances Elvira Schell & Paul Victor Bohy (both deceased). She earned her nursing degree from Lutheran Hospital School for Nurses in 1957 and worked as an ER nurse at Minneapolis Children's hospital for over 25 years. She retired in 1998 spending her winter's relaxing on the beach in Florida, Mississippi, and Mexico, as well as traveling abroad. Patty is survived by brother, Paul Jac (Judy) Bohy of Longview, WA; son, Robert Thomas (Sheila) Layman of Libertyville, IL, and daughter, Jodie Morrison Layman (Gary) Bramel, Holy Cross, IA; grandchildren, Sterling and Courtney Layman, Alec and Christopher Bramel; nephew, Kenneth (Kimberly) Ruffe; niece, Michelle (Mike) Elo; great nephews and nieces, Jeremy, Tanner, and Madison Ruffe, Michaela and Reed Elo. Patty was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Michel Christine; cousins, Richard and Robert Bohy; her beloved companion, Marlowe Hagen, and her faithful dogs, Cinnamon and Peaches. The family will celebrate Patty's life with a memorial service at Transfiguration Lutheran Church, 11000 France Ave. S. Bloomington MN 55431 on Saturday, May 18 at Noon. We would like to thank Drs.
