Campbell, William J. "Bill", "Beetle" Age 89, of Minnetrista and Scottsdale died at home in Arizona December 18, 2013. He was born December 15, 1924 to Boyeson and Florence Camp- bell in Minneapolis. He graduated from Southwest High, served in WWII, attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in business. Bill was a fine businessman, started two successful businesses Mid State Manufacturing and Cord Sets Inc. He is survived by wife, Elna; sister, Carolyn Gleason; son, Scott (Pam); son, Mark; daughter, Martha (Kevin); stepchildren, Mia (Mike), Brynn, Kaya, Brooks; two grandchildren, 7 step- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Boyeson, sister, Virginia, and first wife, Mary. Bill enjoyed tennis, biking, downhill skiing, horseback riding, and travel. Everyone would agree that Beetle never really grew up and his sense of fun endeared him to all who knew him. Services are pending in Scottsdale. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held in Minnesota on Father's Day, June 15, 2014.
