University of Washington Memorial Site: Notable Deaths & Obituaries

The University of Washington is the largest university in the Northwest with 500 buildings spread over three campuses and 20 million square feet of space. It is the largest recipient of federal research funding for public universities, has a highly ranked medical school and boasts astronauts, National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize winners and Medal of Honor recipients among its alumni. This memorial site was created to remember all who helped shape – and were shaped by – the University of Washington.
