Henry BABER Obituary


BABER, Henry Ford, 83, of Chesterfield, died at home on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Dorothy; sons, Byron (Judy), Stephen (Kristi) and Barry (Sharon); his most beloved grandchildren, Josiah, Elizabeth and Rachel; his adored sister, Dannice Miller. Mr. Baber served as a paratrooper during the Korean War in the 187th RCT. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Rte. 10). His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be a private burial at Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Gospel Baptist Church, 1300 Turner Road, Richmond, Va. 23225.
