Henry Fletcher Obituary

ORANGE — Henry "Buck" Fletcher, long­time resident of Orange, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, from a heart attack.
A retired U.S. Navy chief and veteran of two wars, he received a Bronze Star with Valor in Vietnam, among other medals.
He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Mitsuko "Mitzy;" and his children, Kathleen Fletcher Standridge of Florida, Bobbie Felix of California, Donna Schmidt of Virginia, Henry Fletcher of Orange and Una Fletcher of Washington, D.C.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his brother, Aaron "Buddy" Fletcher of Longview, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Olan and Una Murphy Fletcher of Carthage, Texas.
A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at JB's BBQ on Bus. 90, in Orange. He will be buried with military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
