Donald Joseph Freeman

1945-2013 Donald Joseph Freeman 68, of North Adams died Tuesday December 23, 2013 at the North Adams Regional Hospital. He was born in Holden, MA. on July 14, 1945 a son of the late Donald and Vivian (Charbonneau) Freeman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a roofer in the Worcester area for several years. He was last employed at Scarafoni Realty. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. His wife Darlene (Jessing) freeman died on March 9, 1999. Survivors include five sons Mark, Scott and Todd Retallic and Donald and Shawn Freeman and two daughters Denise Jessing and Dawn Freeman of North Adams. Two sisters Barbara Choiniere and Deborah Beckwith and two brothers Wayne and David Freeman. He was predeceased by a son and sister Darrin Retallic and Deanne Bartlett. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling Hours will take place Monday December 30, 2013 from 3-5 P.M. followed by a funeral services at 5:00 P.M. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams,MA. 01247.
