CHENOWETH, Philip Moore, 92, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 from complications of a stroke. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rochester then served in WWII in the Army. He retired from the US Census Bureau then traveled the US & the World with the love of his life, Mary Tripp Chenoweth, his wife of 64 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife; his brother, David Richard Chenoweth of Ohio, three children, Tom Chenoweth (Louise), Ann Chenoweth-Sader (Alan), Janet Chenoweth (Stu) and seven grandchildren, Julianna Sader Wheeler (Jaron), Mary Sader, Nina, Eva, Roman, Adrian and Leo Chenoweth. He was a Meals on Wheels volunteer, a member of NARFE and a member of the Appalachian Trail Club. A memorial service will be held at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1627 Monument Ave., Richmond Va., 23220 on Saturday, February 16 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers consider a donation to the food bank.
