Over night through a friend [Suzy Hixson] who started the GoFundMe for me, there has been tremendous support from thousands of people who knew Kim, those that found her posts inspirational, and those that just admired her as a fantastic talent that has been silenced forever. I would like to thank all of you for your out-pouring of love for her. I know she's looking down and appreciates it. Thank you all very much." -Gene Piotrowsky
