Brownstein to Finish Ephron's Last Film Script

The late writer-director Nora Ephron will be returning to the big screen, thanks to "Portlandia" writer and star Carrie Brownstein.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brownstein is working to complete Ephron's final, unfinished script, a feature-length adaptation of the British miniseries "Lost in Austen." A release date has not been set for the film, which focuses on a woman from modern-day Brooklyn, New York, who is transported back in time to the fictional world created by Jane Austen for "Pride and Prejudice."

Nice to see Ephron's final project moving forward, one more film to add to her remarkable legacy.
