Father Killed While Walking in Son's Memory

The Oregonian

His son Jadin was a victim of bullying. After his death, Joe Bell took action.

When Jadin Bell died by suicide in February, 2013, his father, Joe, needed to take action in memory of his son, a victim of bullying who was gone too soon.

Joe embarked on a walk across the United States, raising awareness and giving talks all over the country. Tragedy heaped upon tragedy when Joe Bell was killed October 6, 2013, hit by a truck as he walked in his son's memory.

We're remembering Joe and Jadin, and looking at ways to put an end to bullying. October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Perhaps Joe Bell can continue to raise awareness and prevent bullying, even after his death.
