A video tribute to some of the most beloved Grammy winners.

Album of the Year is often called the most prestigious of all the Grammy Awards. Artists are rewarded for assembling a work that receives critical and industry acclaim while also having broad commercial appeal. These albums can come to define an era, like The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” or the Bee Gee’s soundtrack to “Saturday Night Fever.” Sometimes they’re an acknowledgement of a career of excellence, such as when Ray Charles was posthumously honored for his final album “Genius Loves Company.” We remember some of the great artists who have won a Grammy for Album of the Year.
