Video tribute to the memorable movies and stars of 1967

1967 was a year of change in Hollywood. A younger generation of moviegoers was embracing more realistic portrayals of sex and violence in films such as “The Graduate” and “Bonnie and Clyde.” The push for civil rights was starting to be reflected on screen in acclaimed films like best picture winner “In the Heat of the Night” and the dramatic comedy “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.” As 2017’s Academy Awards approach, we remember the films of 50 years ago and the stars and filmmakers who made them special.
