Funeral Procession on the Speedway

Published: 6/4/2011
Hershel Roberts, a John Deere Harvester employee and labor union activist, was a popular dirt track driver at the Quad City Speedway in East Moline, Ill.

The funeral procession for Roberts, who died May 3 at age 68, made its way around the Speedway. A photo of the hearse carrying Roberts followed by other vehicles was published at Quad Cities Online along with some biographical points.

Using a photo or video taken at a distinctive funeral is a wonderful vehicle for sharing a person’s life story.
