Year in Review: Notable Women

Published: 12/27/2012
Yesterday, we looked at a few of the famous faces we lost in 2012, as well as the tragedies that touched our hearts. Today, we focus in on the notable women who took their final bow in the past year. Writers and singers and actresses, a comedian and a poet and an athlete, astronauts and a pilot, and six heroic teachers… they are all deeply missed.
