Daffodil Day Brings Kiwis Together in Fight Against Cancer

For 25 years Kiwis have come together on Daffodil Day to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.

As the Cancer Society celebrates this milestone on 28 August 2015, they hope that this year’s 25th anniversary Daffodil Day will be the most successful appeal yet. With 1 in 3 New Zealanders affected by cancer, the need is as great as ever.

Across New Zealand persons and businesses, including principal sponsor ANZ, are stepping up to do their part. Visit the Cancer Society website to learn how to volunteer your time or donate to the cause. Donations go towards scientific research into causes and treatments of all forms of cancer as well as services that support people affected by cancer, education programmes and awareness campaigns.

Chances are you or someone you love has been affected by cancer. Who will you wear a flower for this Daffodil Day?
