Today July is more associated with fireworks, trips to the beach and cookouts than with ancient dictators. But if not for Julius Caesar, each summer Americans might celebrate a holiday known as the 4th of Quintilis (perhaps Quinty 4th). Luckily for those of us in the good old U.S. of A., the Roman Senate honored Caesar shortly before his death by renaming the month previously known as Quintilis for him. We're celebrating Caesar's month with a look at a few of the other famous people whose names are connected to the month of July: We bring you our slideshow of famous Julies and Julias.
