Leon Robertson Obituary

Mr. Leon Jordon Robertson, 75, died Sunday, February 15, 2009.
He was born March 3, 1933 in Wendell, to the late Luther and Mabel Robertson. He received his formal education in the Wake County Public School system. He was a career employee of David Allen Company retiring in 2004 with over 50 years of service. He dedicated his life to the Lord at an early age and remained a faithful member at Riley Hill Baptist Church in Wendell until his health declined.
Survivors: his soul mate of 53 years, Dorothy Gadison Robertson; son, Kenneth Leon and daughter, Audrey Moore of Raleigh; beloved grandchildren, April, Chrishelle and Leon; sisters, Geraldine R. Herndon and Elsie R. Clements, both of Wendell; brother, Luther M. Robertson, Jr. (Sarah) of Fayetteville; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation, Thursday, February 19, at William Toney's Funeral Home, 216 E. Barbee St., Zebulon from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Funeral 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2009 at Riley Hill Baptist Church, 6025 Riley Hill Road, Wendell, NC. Burial, Carolina Biblical Gardens, Raleigh.
