I was sadden by the news of Sam's passing. I was a contractor at NC State and worked with Sam and Don Martin for many years. I've since moved to Wilmington and on a trip to Raleigh last year I stopped at a store in Newton Grove and ran into Sam. We talked and shared stories...He will be missed but always remembered.
