Janice Wallace Obituary

JANUARY 7, 1938 - MAY 19, 2008
Janice Joyner Wallace, 70, a resident of the Laurels of Forest Glen, passed away on Monday at Wake Medical Center. Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of Vasti Joyner of Louisburg and the late Wayne Joyner.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral chapel in Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by sons, James "Greg" Wallace, Thomas Wallace and wife, Deanna and Joey E. Wallace, all of Raleigh, Richard D. Wallace and wife, Fredda of Holly Springs, Michael Wallace and wife, Marilyn of Goldsboro; sister, Brenda Smith of Louisburg; brother, Gary Joyner of Louisburg; seven grandchildren, Shane, Christina, Travis, John Dalton, Alex, Meagan and Noah; three great-grandchildren, Kamari, Brooke and Haley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Bobby Jack Wallace and siblings, Shirley Stevenson and Doug Joyner.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Janice was a joy to work with at DDS and has been missed greatly since she retired. I'll never forget her sparkling blue eyes, brilliant smile and quick laughter. May peace be with all of you.
