Patricia E. Hunter, of Sy Road, Town of Wheatfield, died on Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was born in North Tonawanda, NY on September 1, 1939, the daughter of the Edith (Harber) Hunter of North Tonawanda and the late Robert Hunter. Pat was a consumer at Opportunities Unlimited Day Center on Niagara Falls Blvd. A great friend of Bob in the Opportunities Unlimited Greenhouse and made many friends while selling flowers at the North Tonawanda Senior Center and area nursing homes. Pat was a loving girl who made friends with everyone she met, especially Adele of the Senior Group and Minnie and Harvey of the group home. She was a member of Mr. Maroon’s CP Group, a bowling group. She had been interviewed by television celebrities in the greenhouse and had been on “Cooking with Lori” television show. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Merry Hedges (Scott) of North Tonawanda; her brother, Robert Hunter (Corliss) of Skaneateles, NY; two nephews, David and Steven Hunter and a niece, Tammy Siuta (Rick); three great-nephews, Ryan, Jimi and Jared Siuta.Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Thursday 11 AM. The interment will be private in Acacia Park Cemetery.
