Zigmont Myslinski Obituary

FRANKFORD - Zigmont T. Myslinski, 73, of Augusta, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Newton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Sussex Borough, Mr. Myslinski was a lifelong resident of Sussex County. He worked for the New Jersey Department of Transportation in Sussex for 30 years before his retirement in 1993. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Myslinski served from 1958 to 1962. He had a great love of farming, woodworking and country music.

The son of the late John and Carrie Bastek Myslinski, Mr. Myslinski is survived by his wife of 50 years, Aleta; three children, Vera Nemeth of Montague, Vonnie Brown of Quarryville, Pa., and Zigmont E. Myslinski of Lafayette; one grandchild, and three sisters, Edith Slesinski of Florida, N.Y., Mary Previtti of Sussex and Martha Vincent of Forest Port, N.Y.

A prayer service will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville. Interment will follow in Frankford Plains Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
