Anne Gottardo-Davis Obituary

SAYLORSBURG, Pa. - Anne Gottardo-Davis, 43, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. Anne was born in Plainfield and lived in Glen Gardner before moving to Saylorsburg 18 months ago. She worked as a dental administrator in Denville.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffrey Davis; her loving parents, Lino and Michelina Gottardo of Basking Ridge; her brothers, Lino, Robert, Ennio and Frank and his wife, Lisa. She is also survived by her nephew, Lino. She leaves her two beloved dogs, Jessy and Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 21, at the First Presbyterian Church of Sparta, 32 Main St., Sparta. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Friends may call Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in her memory to Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds, Pa. 17569.

Dear Jeff,

We are so sorry for the loss of Anne. We wish we would have had a chance to go to the outdoor flea-market in Saylorsburg together like we always talked about. If we could only turn back time...she will be greatly missed.
