As a co-worker of Jim's at Newton Auto Parts for many years, I know Jim had a great love and adoration for his wife, son, and brother-in-law, Warren. Not a day went by where he did not mention them or how proud he was of them. May God's peace be with you.

I have worked with Jim at the Newton Sears Hardware store for over 7yrs. He was always a hard worker. I knew him on the outside of work as well and he was a family orriented man who loved his family, pups, and machinery he worked on. Anything with an engine he could get running again. Even though he found out he was ill he kept going, nothing was going to stop him from doing what he loved best...working. You couldn't keep him down, he was a fighter and proved this all along. During his last days we talked about sales, tractors, mowers and he perked right up. He was much like an egg; had a hard shell but if you took the time to crack it he was a warm hearted man with many life lessons to share. We will always remember you Jim "wing-nut" we love you and help us to get the pa's and sales we need. You were great at that. One more thing tell that Christmas Goose I said hi..I will take care of Mikey, Mrs. Kinney and the girls.

Until We Meet Again,
Kim

Dear Cheryl and Son,
May God be with you and help you to undersatnd HIS reasons of why things happen the way they do.
Our road of life is long and yet sometimes short with many twist and turns that we must do before the journey's end.
Please know my heart is with you, I have been thru it as well as we all have at one time or another...God be with you in this time of sorrow.

Jim was a hard working man and gave this disease a strong fight. I was a child growing up in Branchville and have known Jim for 40+ years, remembering him working at Rockaway Sales in Newton and other businesses throughout the years. Jim and my dad had back surgery on the same day/same hospital a few years ago. He is now at peace. My thoughts and prayers to Cheryl, Michael and family.
