Guy Sabia Obituary

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Guy R. Sabia, 76, and his wife Nanette Sabia, 74, died peacefully Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at their home. Mr. Sabia was born December 24, 1931, and Mrs. Sabia was born September 25, 1933, both in Brooklyn, N.Y. They had resided in Wayne before moving to Port Charlotte in 1990.

They are survived by their children, Laura J. Childress and her husband, Horace, of Little Rock, Ark., Linda A. Jacob and her husband, Jerry, of Vernon and Robert Sabia and his wife, Teresa, of Highland Lakes; grandchildren, Robert Sabia Jr., Jacqueline Sabia, Ashley Jacob and David Jacob; as well as Mrs. Sabia's brother, Ralph Grimaldi and his wife, Paula, of Staten Island, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 21, 2008, at 8:30 p.m., at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon. Friends may pay their respects to the family prior to the service on Monday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
