Doris Makatics Obituary
She was a professional photographer and the owner of Timeless Expressions by Prestige. Doris was also a member of the Bethany Reformed Church in Prospect Park.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; her son Eric; her brothers, Kenneth Prol, William Prol, Ronald Prol, James Prol and Robert Prol; and her sisters, Marilyn Vroegindewey, Karen Grasso and Janice Goeller. She also leaves 19 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, 781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris' memory to the Eastern Christian Children's Retreat in Wyckoff would be greatly appreciated by her family.

Oh my God, I was shocked, saddened and so sorry to hear of the passing of Doris. My heart goes out to all of you.
I worked with Doris for almost 20 years at Missbrenner, and I know there was not a mean bone in her body. She was a very lovely person.
May God be with all of you in this time of need, I will be keeping all of you in my thought and prayers.
My heart goes out to Joe, Eric and all of the Prols.
