Sandra Gillow Obituary

SPARTA - Sandra M. Horrocks Gillow, 67, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at home. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Kearny before moving to Florham Park in and moved to Sparta in 1992.

She was a member of the Kearny Parent Teacher Association and an avid bowler.

Mrs. Gillow was the wife of the late Thomas M. Krulik, former Kearny High School teacher and track coach, and the late Samuel Gillow, former nuclear engineer at Picatinny Arsenal. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mae Horrocks; the mother of Lisa Krulik and Thomas Krulik Jr.; the sister of Sally Lenahan and her husband, Richard, and the late Muriel Horrocks Pollock; the sister-in-law to Archie Pollock, Irene Smalley and Lorraine Krulik; and the grandmother of Tommy and Justyne D'Ascoli. Mrs. Gillow is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Wilfred Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church, Kearny. Internment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Sandra. I met your mother recently at the Casting for Recovery Retreat and enjoyed spending the weekend with her.
She was a kind and wonderful person and will be missed.
