Henry A. "Hank" Viti

Henry Viti Obituary

DENVILLE - Henry "Hank" A. Viti, 64, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Sparta before moving to Denville five years ago.

Mr. Viti was a 1965 graduate of St. Peter's College in Jersey City, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Mr. Viti was Director of Purchasing and Corporate Services at Berlex Baxer Labs, in Wayne, for 30 years before retiring in March 2002.

Mr. Viti is survived by his wife, Kathryn, and his daughters, Amanda Viti and her fiance, Nicholas Zerby, of Whippany, and Jennifer Viti of Fort Lee. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Viti, of Gettysburg, Pa.

A funeral service will be held Monday, 10 a.m., at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains, followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation will be Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Viti's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.

Kathryn, I've just heard of Hanks passing. My condolences to you and your family. Having the privilege of working with Hank for 8 years going back to the Cooper Labs days, I fondly remember the softball team where Hank played a wicked first base.
