Marie Smith Obituary

SMITH - Marie of Highland Mills an Office Manager of Printing Companies and a 6 month resident of the area died, July 19, 2005 at her home. She was 58 years of age. The daughter of the late Thomas Mannion and Margaret Greason she was born on Mary 5, 1947 in Manhattan, NY. Marie was a member of the Junior June Taylor Dancers. Marie was a warm hearted woman who was easy with a laugh and generous with her time. Marie is survived by her son Jason Maass and his wife Kelli, her former husband Jerry Maass of Bronx, NY, her brothers Spencer Mannion of Ogdensburg, New Jersey and Mark Mannion of Bronx, NY. Her cousins Irene Shine of New Milford, NJ and Nancy Schuh of Ridgewood, NJ and her dear friend Patricia Cox of Bergenfield, NJ. Marie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2005 from 7-9 PM and Friday, July 22, 2005 from 9-9:45 AM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, July 22, 2005 at 10:00 at the Chapel of the Sacred Heart, Stage Road, Monroe, NY, with the Fr. Jeffrey Maurer officiating. Cremation will occur at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY. Memorial contributions in Marie's name to Gilda's Club Worldwide, 322 Eight Avenue, Suite 1402, New York, NY 10001 would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Thomas F. Flynn, Director.
