Steve Parrott

President & Chief Executive Officer

Parrott is responsible for creating the future for Legacy.com. He oversees management, operations and strategy for Legacy.com, Inc. He has more than 20 years of experience providing strategic leadership and vision for Internet companies and online properties.

Before joining Legacy.com, Parrott spent 10 years in various roles at CBS Interactive (CNET Networks) including President of their CNET Content Solutions Division and SVP of Sales and Product Marketing for their online properties, including cnet.com and cbsnews.com. Before CBS, Parrott ran his own consulting company and founded two Internet startup companies.

A native of Newfoundland, Canada, he earned a Bachelor’s degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and an MBA from the University of Buffalo. He currently resides in Calabasas, California.

Stopher Bartol

Executive Chairman

Bartol focuses on strategic partnerships and opportunities while supporting the company in every way to achieve its ambitious goals.

Bartol founded Legacy.com, introducing the category of online obituaries and growing the partnership from a small number of newspaper partnerships to the current network of over 1,500 newspapers, 2,500 funeral homes and 140 broadcast stations in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, U.K. and Europe

Before launching Legacy.com in 1998, Bartol spent 10 years in management consulting with McKinsey & Company.

A native of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, he earned a Bachelor’s degree from Beloit College and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mark Castrovinci

Chief Technology Officer

Castrovinci oversees Technology for Legacy.com, Inc.

Before joining Legacy.com, Castrovinci most recently led the technology organization at Apollo Education Group responsible for student enrollment, scheduling and financial aid as well as shared software platforms, cloud infrastructure and the release automation functions that supported all technology teams. He was the CTO for OLX.com, an international classifieds business based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the VP of Platforms for CBS Interactive and CNET Networks.

A native of New York City, Castrovinci earned degrees from Boston University in Business Administration and Rutgers University in Computer Science.

Helene Donahue

Chief Financial Officer

Donahue oversees financial planning and reporting, accounting and human resources for Legacy.com, Inc.

Before joining the Company in October 2007, Donahue operated her own consulting company, Burling Consulting LLC.

She previously served as Vice President, Operations Quality, for GE Capital’s Retailer Financial Services Division, and as Director of Finance for American Express.

A native of New York, Donahue earned her Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University. She also holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Kim Evenson

Chief Marketing Officer

Evenson oversees marketing, content, customer service and analytics for Legacy.com, Inc.

Before joining Legacy.com, Evenson served most recently as CMO of Retrofit and before that as SVP of Marketing for eDiets.com. She spent most of her early marketing career at Kraft Foods, growing from Assistant Brand Manager to Director of Health & Wellness. Her experience also includes roles at Peapod, Starbucks, H.E. Butt Grocery and consulting for fitness retail, new product development and online marketing.

A native of Park Ridge, Illinois, she earned Bachelor’s degrees from Northwestern University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Elaine Haney

General Manager Tributes & Chief Product Officer

Haney oversees the Tributes business unit and leads product development, as well as strategic data initiatives for Legacy.com, Inc.

Before joining Legacy.com, Haney served most recently as President & CEO of Tributes. Prior to that, she held several senior management positions for Eons.com, including SVP of Product where she guided the product, design and editorial teams and the initial launch of the Eons website. Before joining the Eons team, Haney was one of three key executives at Switchboard.com that grew Switchboard's online directory platform from an Internet spin-off to a profitable, publicly-traded company and finally to a successfully acquired entity.

A native of Framingham, Massachusetts, Haney serves on the Boards of the Boston Club and the Boston Center for Adult Education and sits on the Institutional Advancement Committee (IAC) of the Crittenton Women's Union. She regularly mentors entrepreneurs and young women leaders with ties to major universities within the Boston area such as UMASS, Babson and Bentley. Haney attended Lesley University and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and holds an advanced degree in management and a Bachelor's degree in computer science.

Paul Roche

Senior Vice President, International
Managing Director iAnnounce

Roche oversees the management of Legacy.com's business outside North America and serves as Managing Director of iAnnounce.

Roche has more than 25 years of experience working in the IT industry, mostly in the U.K. and Ireland. Before joining Legacy.com, he spent 5 years with the global telecommunications company British Telecom. His roles in Dublin, London and Belfast included General Manager for BT Global Services eBusiness and Director of Software and Systems Integration.

A native of Greystones, Co. Wicklow in Ireland, Roche now resides in Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland.

Craig Ziegler

Senior Vice President & General Manager

Ziegler oversees Legacy.com’s partner businesses, including revenue ownership of Legacy.com’s platform sales in North America, along with Global E-commerce and Programmatic Advertising monetization.

Ziegler joined the Company in 2012 and has held positions as VP of Advertising Strategy and Partnerships and SVP of Product. Before joining Legacy.com, he was a member of the executive leadership team at Accuen, Omnicom Media Group’s programmatic agency, and then with Tribune Interactive, leading both direct and indirect revenue channels across Tribune’s national portfolio of digital properties.

A native of Moline, Illinois, Ziegler earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and an MBA in Finance and Economics from Loyola University Chicago.

Sean Endler

Vice President, Innovation Lab

Endler oversees strategic conceptual efforts for future products and services for Legacy.com, Inc.

Before joining Legacy.com, Endler served leadership roles in various digital entertainment brands. Most recently, he was leading and establishing user-centered design processes for global brands such as Sony Electronics, Yahoo!, MTV, Napster and Shopzilla. He brings an established track record for innovation, having developed numerous patents, incubating completely new product categories, as well as establishing world-class design teams.

A Southern California native, Endler studied Product / Transportation Design at Art Center Pasadena, as well as Visual Communication at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Ernie Roth

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Roth oversees business development activity for Legacy.com’s network of sites and businesses. During his time with Legacy.com, he has worked primarily on new business initiatives and strategic partnerships that grow revenue and expand monetization capabilities.

Roth joined the Company in 2006 from the Chicago District Golf Association, where he served as Associate Executive Director. Before that, he held several different positions at Tribune Company, including General Manager of ChicagoSports.com for Tribune Interactive and Director of Publications and Special Projects for the Chicago Cubs.

A native of Chicago, Roth earned a Bachelor's degree from Amherst College. He also holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Kim Vander Velde

Senior Vice President, Sales

Vander Velde oversees all newspaper affiliate relationships for Legacy.com in North America.

Vander Velde joined Legacy.com in 2002 as Director of Newspaper Affiliates. She was promoted to Director of Sales in 2007 and to Vice President of Sales in January 2008.

She previously worked as Director of Business Development for YesMail, and as Affiliate Relations Manager for Classified Ventures.

A native of Cleveland, Vander Velde earned a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
