Kabul Bombing Victims Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 19, 2016.
At least 28 people were killed and more than 320 people injured Tuesday in a suicide bombing near the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, according to multiple news sources.

The blast struck near the Afghan Ministry of Defense and just a few hundred yards from the Afghan presidential palace and NATO's local headquarters, according to reports. The victims were reportedly civilians in a densely populated neighborhood near Afghan military buildings.

A suicide car bomber caused the blast, according to a spokesman for the Interior Ministry.

Although people at the U.S. Embassy reported hearing the loud explosion, the embassy was not affected.

To all the Families:

I am so sorry for your loss. These senseless tragedies do not make sense. They do not solve problems; they simply add to them.

Our Creator is aware of everything that happens in this world. He sees the good and the bad. Since He is a God of love, justice, and mercy, he promises to end the source of all problems.

Please take comfort in knowing that God has not forgotten about your loved ones. We await the time when our loved ones wake up in paradise. Sorrows and sadness will not exist. They will be things of the past. Titus 1:2 helps us to realize that this is exactly what will take place.

We love you and share your sorrow.
