Bill Haast – Centenarian Snake Charmer

 Bill Haast, a pioneer in extracting snake venom for research purposes, was director of the Miami Serpentarium Laboratories near Punta Gorda until his death Wednesday at age 100.
Yes, that's right. Age 100. One hundred years old and tangling with poisonous snakes for a living. It doesn't get much cooler than that, folks.
Here's hoping that someone decides to put out a movie about Haast and that Clint Eastwood is tapped to play the centenarian snake-charmer. That's a movie we'd like to see.
In the meantime, here's Haast himself being interviewed in 1962 from his hospital bed. We'll let you guess what put him in the hospital...
