Therefore, though we are always confident and know that while we are home in the body we are away from the Lord - for we walk by faith, not by sight - yet we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord. ~ 2 CORINTHIANS 5:6-8 ~ See you in Heaven my friend.

what a faithful friend he has been to me.Without question one of the most Christ-like men I have ever known.Im going to miss my Sunday hugs and hearing " I love you, brother". Still yet another reason heaven is going to be so sweet.

My thoughts are with the Shores family. Dave was a good and kind man. I had not seen him for many years but remember him with fondness. My family attended the Church of God in New Philadelphia with Dave, Bev, and Mr. & Mrs. Shores. Those days were a lot of fun. God Bless You.

My deepest sympathy to the Shores Family. I am a server at Denny's Classic Diner and have waited on Mr. Shores and his wife alot on Sundays. I was very shocked to see of his passing. God be with you during this difficult time. Sincerely...

Jdg 6:12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD [is] with thee, thou mighty man of valour. Dave certainly was a man of valor and I am blessed to call him friend.

Dave was a friend from the old neighborhood. Hadn't seen him for many years, but remember him as a genuinely sincere and quality person.
