Earl Ries Obituary

Earl A. Ries of Plymouth Meeting, died on June 27, 2011. Age 77. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Plymouth Meeting, Hazle Azalea Fellowship Lodge No. 327, and the Union County Sportsmen's Club. A U.S. Army Veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Ries graduated from Hazleton High School and Penn State University. He was the retired Manager of Wage, Salary and Compensation and Pricing Manager for RCA. Upon retirement he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and spending time with his family. Earl is survived by his wife of 51 years Mary Anne (Warner) Ries; children, Earl A. Ries, Jr (Kerry) and Susan E. Ries; two grandsons, Earl A. Ries, III and Darren A. Ries. Also, survived by his three nephews and three nieces. A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 2907 Jolly Road Plymouth Meeting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the above named church or a charity of your choice.
