GERRIT LANSING Obituary

LANSING--Gerrit. It is with profound sadness that the members and former members of the Board of Trustees, the staff, and loyal friends of Independent Curators International (ICI) mourn the death of our longtime President and Chairman, Gerrit Lansing. With his devoted wife and fellow ICI Trustee Sydie Lansing constantly at his side, Gerrit's caring leadership, passion for and knowledge of art, and extraordinary generosity have provided the foundation upon which ICI has thrived. For thirty years Gerrit has been at the heart of ICI. His unswerving commitment and wisdom will be an inspiration for years to come. Our condolences to his wife and sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, of whom he was so proud and loved so deeply.

Sidy,am so sad to hear of the passing of Gerrit ---- I have so many memories of us all together ( seems like yesterday ) .
Will always think of those baskets of Oreos that you used to send around!You were both an amazingly wonderful couple. My heart goes out to you and the boys XXXXX Pauline
