Ralph Riffe Obituary

RIFFE, Ralph "Gene" 75, of St. Petersburg, passed away Monday, Nov. 22nd, 2010. Gene was born Sept. 14, 1935, in Iaeger, WV and spent his childhood in Princeton, WV, moving to St. Petersburg in 1968. Gene served our country in the Air Force during the Korean War. An excellent mechanic, he was the Service Manager for many years at local Chrysler dealerships prior to owning his own service station, Gene's Texaco, in Northeast St. Petersburg. Gene was an avid collector of cars, winning many "Best in Shows" and enjoyed buying and selling them throughout his life. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janice; sons Bill, Ronnie, Donnie, and Danny all of St. Petersburg; grandchildren Amy, Kyle and Erika; and other loving family members and friends. The visitation will be held today, Nov. 30th, from 6 pm until 8 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home where the funeral service will be on Wednesday, Dec. 1st at 2 pm. Memorial Park F.H. 527-1196
