Keith Grayson sending belated condolences.
I am the last of the Grayson's and never met Dick, however I knew Melanie and always watched her show, very proud to have known her,I actually knew a star!
My Grandmother, Thelma was fortunate enough to have known The Wilson's and she told me Dick was the funniest man she ever knew!
He had everyone crying with sore stomach muscles by the end of an evening!
I never forgot this because my Grandmother was not prone to levity, hat really impressed me!

For Dick...For more than
twenty years you warned us
not to squeeze the Charmin.
WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

There is no such thing as "death," it's only an illusion this thick dimension creates. The seperation it creates is real, sadly... But we'll all see those who've passed again! We'll pass! And how exciting right now for Dick! What joy and wonders he's experiencing!

Hi Meg, Melanie, Stuart & Wendy & families
I am Eileen's daughter Theresa and your neice and cousin. I would like to let your family know that we are all sorry for your loss. Uncle Dick was the last of my Mother's siblings. In addition I want you to know what a small world it is as I talked to Francis Simpson today (never met her before) and she asked that I write for her and her family as well. Remember if you ever decide to visit Canada you have many many cousins here and we would love to see you. Perhaps you could give Paul an e-mail address and we could send pictures and reunite.

Family members,
You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. We enjoyed seeing "Mr. Whipple" in the Charmin commercials. He was a fine actor. Mr. Wilson had "special mightiness" because of his long life. Read Psalms 90:10. God promises a resurrection of those in the memorial tombs at John 5:28, 29. His words bring us comfort and give us hope.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I am so sorry about your great lost. I loved seeing him on TV, with that big smile. You all have my deepest sympathy. May these words give you all so comfort.
Help from God
The Bible assures us: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18) Yes, more than anything else, a relationship with God can help you to cope with the death of someone you love.
Do not underestimate the value of prayer. The Bible urges us: “Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you.” (Psalm 55:22) If talking out your feelings with a sympathetic friend can help, how much more will pouring out your heart to “the God of all comfort” help you!—2 Corinthians 1:3.
It is not that prayer simply makes us feel better. The “Hearer of prayer” promises to give holy spirit to his servants who sincerely ask for it. (Psalm 65:2; Luke 11:13) And God’s holy spirit, or active force, can equip you with “power beyond what is normal” to go from one day to the next. (2 Corinthians 4:7) Remember: God can help his faithful servants to endure any and every problem they may face.

Dear Wilson family,
I never knew him by name during the 60's and 70's as I would see that commercial of Mr. Whipple telling people " Please don't squeeze the Charmin, " then someone telling him, and I qoute, " Mr. Whipple. " as he would squeeze it back. When I go to the store and we buy Charmin I will always think of him. May the Lord God Bless Him and Keep Him as he's entered into New Life in Heaven and may a Choir of Angels be by His Side, Alleluia, Alleluia.
