Always loved watching you Stu. Sports center has never been the same.
Watching you battle cancer was such an inspiration. You sure knew how to live life your way, the authentic way. I know you're in heaven, where you belong. Though I never had the chance to meet you on Earth, I pray I will get to meet you in heaven. The way you and Jimmy V fought and embraced adversity is a shining example to myself and so many other people. "Cool as the other side of the pillow." Prayers continue to go out for you, your family, and anyone battling cancer. God bless you.

What courage this man had in his fight against cancer. So young and yet the sky was limitless for Stuart Scott. But he is in a better place now - where we all want to call "home" one day. RIP.

I watched your show on Sundays. You were always full of energy and excitement for the game. I have only found out recently that you had two daughters. You were a great father. Your daughters love you so much. Thanks for being attentive to their needs. I wish I had met you. You inspire me to be a more loving person, to be strong, and to press forward no matter what. Thanks for your courage and grace. You are a wonderful blessing. Praise God for your life.

Everytime I watch Sport Center I think of Bro. Scott, when I was in college in North Carolina (years ago) I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr. Scott, I remember him of being down to earth and good. At the time he wasn't the Great person in the regard of his profession that he was to become however, there was a realness about him even then. I cried that day in January it was my sister's birthday. I watched him daily and miss him each time I watch ESPN. I pray for his entire family as a father of a daughter I cannot concieve what he truly must of gone through. I have to believe he, Mr. Scott is in a better place. I now find myself dealing with Cancer. I don't see myself being brave like Mr. Scott I can only hope and pray that I can cope with grace and dignity as Mr. Scott. Rest in peace "Stu" I still cry!

You're a amazing person, idol all the above.. When I think of my grandmother passed of cancer in 2013, from cancer as well. I rush to watch your clips, what other Co workers you had at espn on YouTube wished both of you didn't have to go thru the pains. I still cry to this day how everyone loves you its the only way to be loved, as you showed to everyone else. I will always gonna pray for you and your family as well. Mr Scott you're the man I hope to become!

To: Stuart Scott's family, my heartfelt condolences for the lost of a father, friend, teacher, coach and most of all, news anchorman. There will never be another "soul brother " like you on sports center. Your catch phrases are contagious and no one can say them like you. You are at peace and in no more pain. Ride into the sunset, stuart. You are in heaven now with god and he has given you your "angel wings". We love you and miss you always!

Stuart Scott you will be truly missed. When I heard of your passing on ESPN , It was so heartbreaking I could not even watch sports center for about a month. Just knowing I would never get to watch you on sportcenter, NFL countdown etc it was tough. Watching the the NBA finals and the ESPY'S this year's was tough not seeing you. So many things I can say positive Mr. Scott. Although I have never got the blessing opportunity to actually meet you in person I felt like I knew you in my heart and soul because I have watched and read about you throughout your career and you have definitely carried yourself with respect, dignity, courage and confidence and I love that in a man, especially in this day and time. Love you Stuart Scott RIP.......

I too just finished reading "Every Day I Fight", and I must say this book is one of the best I've ever read. It was so well-written, and Stuart Scott was so transparent and real. I laughed and I cried while reading this book; it was pivoting and thought provoking. I watched Mr. Scott's acceptance of the Jimmy V Award............speechless. I pray for his daughters and the rest of his family. Thank you God for Mr. Stuart Scott.

My husband and I were saddened. Thankfully God has given us sound reasons for hope in the resurrection. We have his word that the dead will rise, standing up again to life. And his purpose regarding those asleep in death is sure to be fulfilled. (Isaiah 55:11; Luke 18:27)

Stuart graciously used his gifts to give insight, share laughter and demonstrate the power of self acceptance as a way to pave healthy life roads. He has made me proud... not for the work he's done in the broadcast business, but for the man he worked to become, the father he committed to being and a man who continued to pay forward all he could to help those who come after him.
My nephew is fighting cancer the way Stuart did... every day Riley fights (#TeamRiley). They both inspire me.

Scott Family : Stuarts sentiments about his love for his daughters were so touching to me and brought to mind 1 John 4:8 Who ever does not love has has not come to know God,because God is love. God's thoughts are a comfort to us when we face many life changing trials. Jude 20 & 21 but you, beloved ones, build yourselves up on your most holy faith, and pray with Holy Spirit , in order to keep yourselves in God's love ,while you await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ with everlasting life in view.

Stuart Scott is the reason I started watching ESPN at the start of his GREAT career there. He made it Cool while remaining a very professional brother. During his first years of his bout with cancer and was not on the air as much, I would ask friends "where is that COOL anchor on ESPN?" And for awhile I stopped watching because I didn't see him. His LIFE impacted American culture and he himself became a signature part of it. Thank the Scott family for sharing him with the world. R.I.P.

To the Family of Mr. Stuart Scott, my sincere sympathy and deepest condolences. May I leave this prom with you "An angel whispered take my hand come with me, your work here is done. I went away to a place where there were no tears, nor sorrow, only laughter and smiles and there will always be a tomorrow. As I move amongst the clouds, I will look down and smile upon you, while the angels sing a heavenly song for both you and I. I am not alone, all who went before are here, they awaited my return. I know you will grieve and wish I was still here. But, remember, I am here in all the memories you hold dear. Remember how much I love you and know I took your love with me. I do not wish for you to cry, nor feel sad. I cherish every moment, you and I ever had. Soon we will see each other again. God will be with you just as he's with me." (Carolyn)

“For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones.” (Hebrews 6:10). Stuart Scott will never be forgotten for all the work that was done for this community and especially those encouraged and inspired in this persons' care. May God continue to strengthen the family and friends in these “times hard to deal with” (2 Tim 3:1), especially without a beloved one such as this talented and loved person gone from our lives but not forgotten.
