T-Model Ford Obituary
Washington County Coroner Methel Johnson tells The Associated Press that Ford died of respiratory failure shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday. She says he was at home with several relatives, including his wife, Estella Ford.
Johnson says the family told her Ford was born in 1924 and had already had his birthday this year, which would've made him 89. But a blues expert and longtime friend, Roger Stolle (STOW-lee), says Ford didn't remember what year he was born and claimed to be 93.
Bill Luckett, co-owner of Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Miss., says Ford was "a master of old-school blues" with an international following.

Met this guy back several years ago in Columbus , Ohio with R.L Burnside & Paul wine Jones . T- Model sat at our table and entertained us with many stories and jokes. We felt very privileged of his company. We watched him play & when he finished his set , he sat back at our table . What a great time .. I'll post a picture when I find it .. Rest in peace my friend!

I had to go to YouTube to find out who T-Model was. Not only did his music sound good but he looked so happy playing it. Music is a perfect gift from God as James 1:17 says. The Almighty God Jehovah has established a heavenly Kingdom that will do away with death forever. Then we can enjoy good music forever ! I hope these thoughts will comfort you in the days ahead.
