MACK BUDZOWSKI LANSING, IL
Mack Budzowski age 85, of Lansing, IL, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008. He is survived by his loving son, Mack A., beloved grandchildren: Kelsey, Keith, Heather, Kara, Brian and Cameron; devoted great grandchildren: Austin and Billie Ayn; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Genevive "Jean"; daughter, Donna; brother, Frank; sisters: Stella and Mamie. Funeral Services Friday October 3, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from Rosemoor Funeral Home, 17943 S. Torrence Ave. Lansing, IL 60438 to St. John Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Interment at Assumption Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2:00- 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mack was a Decorated WWII Army Air Corps Veteran. He served with he Flying Tigers in China. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 8141 (Services Thursday 7:00 p.m.) and American Legion Post 1070 (services Thursday 6:30 p.m.). Mack was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Your dad was a good man. He was a good friend of my mom, Sophie, and dad, John. I tried to stop by to see your dad on my way home from my mom's whenever I could, just to keep in touch. I am sorry for his loss. Jean was my godmother.

I went to grade school in Calumet City with Mack. We were usually seated (alphabetically) near each other. He was always a nice guy, and I have good memories of him. I'm so sorry for your loss. God Bless You, Jim Bielat
