Deeply saddened by the sudden passage of this longtime colleague. Our industry and the Kieta clan has suffered a great loss. I am sorry that I was on the road and did not get the news until services had concluded. Fond and amazing memories of Greg will be with me forever. He will be deeply missed.

Laurie,

Both Lynn and I were so saddened by the news of Greg. It brought back the memories of the laughter we shared in Orlando years ago!

He was one of the most talented people I have ever known. I can remember walking in to the tech shop at Pro Plus and nearly having my head chopped off as Greg was flying a crazy looking helicopter type rig he had designed! Lots of great memories and laughs.

Our industry has lost a huge talent, and we all have lost a great colleague and friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Laurie, and Kieta family.

Uncle Greg, older brother, one of my best friends. He was all of this to me since I was able to walk. I truly loved him more than most people will ever comprehend. We had so much more to do together. I will never ever forget him !! Love you, Greg !!!!!!

Greg was smartest mechanical designer I have ever known – his designs were functional, elegant and most times downright genius (and when they did not work perfectly in rehearsals some of the best comedy I can ever recall!!)

Greg also designed and built my family the most loving, wonderful bronze statue that is a permanent part of my sons monument.

Its a very sad day indeed for my family and everyone who had the honor of knowing Greg Kieta .

I will never forget Greg and the joy he brought me every time I was with him.

Greg, with his mechanical mind, was the first to show me how to turn back an odometer. It didn't matter that we were only 10 years old, I knew he was gifted.

Laurie ... I had the pleasure of working with Greg on several TBA shows and looking back on those days brings back great memories. Just watching Greg, Robert and Bruce duke it out backstage was more entertaining than anything ever happening onstage. And when the memory of someone leaves a smile on someone else's face - that's a sweet legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
