We were so sorry to hear of our Auntie Jean's passing.
She was a warm, and caring person that was like a sister to our Mom Beverly Scott ( nee Bartlett)
I'll always remember my trip to New Zealand, and how she toured me around to see the awesome sites, meeting her brother Tom and family, as well as her Mom and Dad. A trip to remember!
My brother and I are sending our heart felt condolences to all the family at this time

Jean was a beautiful Godmother to our son Zachariah.
I have huge gratitude in my heart for the love and loyalty shown to my family by Eric and Jean.
They are together again.

Auntie Jean & Heather on Jean's last visit to Canada

Sending sincere condolences from Chemainus, British Columbia, CANADA to the family of Jean Tasker/Chapman. Auntie Jean was my godmother and a very special Auntie to me. She and my Mother, Beverly Ann Bartlett/Scott were best of friends, since childhood in Fruitvale. Since my Mom passed away 7 years ago, I kept in monthly contact, with Auntie Jean, by telephone (as my Mom would do). We had great chats, lots of laughs, as well as tears and I will miss those times with her. Rest in peace, Auntie Jean and say 'hi' to Mom for me. XOX
Love,
Heather Cameron (nee Scott)

My sincere condolences to the Tasker and Chapman families. As a child I recall how proud we were of our "Aunt Jean in New Zealand". I also enjoyed the 2 visits to see Jean & Eric. May you rest in peace, Aunt Jean. Dorothy Zowty

Our thought are with the Tasker and Chapman families at this time of loss. Aunty Jean holds a special place in our hearts and memory. She was an inspiration to all of us. Jean wrote when our mother died "I had the privilege of calling her my sister. She will never be far away from me-in my mind and on my heart" We feel the same for you, Aunty Jean. We treasure the memories we have of the times we spent together, just wish there were more.
