John KYLE

John KYLE Obituary

KYLE, John (JR). Peacefully surrounded by family on 27 June 2024, aged 81 years. Loved husband of the late Trish and loving father and father-in-law of Scott and Sarah, Des (deceased), Zac and Harps, Marie, Suzie and Trent, and Graham. Devoted poppa to Max and Hugh; Margot and Murphy; Jorgia and Chayce and great poppa to River-lee. A much loved brother, uncle and friend to many. "No longer in our lives to share, but in our hearts you're forever there" A celebration of John's life will be held at the CHB Municipal Theatre, 18 Kenilworth Street, Waipawa on Thursday 4th July at 1:00pm followed by a private burial. Johnny... my condolences to your family, what a man they have lost, what a man has CHB lost, it was a privilege to work with you for so many years at the CHB A&P Association, the laughs in those times were treasures now, you were a Kyle, I was born a Kyle, anyhow it turned out no relation but it was funny as... me and you in the strong room at the offices searching when you actually started with the association, turned out I was still in nappies, we had a good laugh with that one, me and you running the bar after the show was not a good mix, you liking my clubsport and driving it around at showtime with Trish saying she wanted one of those but you bought her a more appropriate looking Calais... you are my legend my friend, nothing phased you, you were perfect just as you were xx

To all the family, from over the ditch. We heard the news with great sadness, JR was such a big part of our lives. He will live on in our hearts and our memories. I bet he is already knocking back a G&T with Johnny Wee, Trish & Della.
