Just learnt the news about you Jonti, sitting here in shock as I was thinking about you just a day or two back. Fond memories of the banter and laughter in the early NZDF days of the 90s. You will be sorely be missed, play your music in heaven my friend. Deepest condolences to the family

Dear Jonti
After helping me through my mum going to heaven you and I started to become close friends knowing you would be my friend for life. I have taken on all you have told me when it comes to my garden and will strive to get as good as you.
You never got to meet my blessing however she will grow to know of Mama's friend who owns his own beach 5
Work is like walking into a fog.. I've been told you've gone to heaven yet there seems to be no confirmation in my mind, body or soul. I will do us proud and take away life lessons from our many funny conversations.
I will talk of you often and drink a hearty rum for us each year. With all my tears, love and memories be at peace and watch over your family and friends

I didn't know Jonti that well as we were on different shifts but I have heard so much good things about him and seeing the effect his loss has brought to everyone here is a statement of his character.

I am so incredibly privileged to have met Jonti through his beautiful wife Monique. Its hard to believe he was taken in this way and I know he will be missed by many (and especially by his wife) for ever. Sending hugs and love.
