b. 02.07.1927, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, October 17, 2025, in the comfort of loved ones. Thanks to the tender care shown to Nana by all the staff during her rest home days. Nana will be remembered fondly by them for having 'her' seat and keeping an eye on the comings and goings of the home. We're particularly grateful for her send off and the moving hymn sung by the stunning singer as Nana left the building. She is now resting in peace with her beloved, our Grandad Lockie, who she has missed dearly over the past 9 years. Nana was a woman of great strength and quiet determination. She worked hard all her life and always put her family and community first. Her presence filled every room, and she'll be remembered as someone deeply respected, admired and loved by all who knew her. Nana, your historical date references, remembering every grandchild's birthdate, 'Shoulders back and hands out of pockets,' reminders, and your pride at having all 13 of your grandchildren together will always be remembered - as will the contents of the biscuit tin! We're comforted in knowing that you and grandad are together again.
Cheerio, Nana.
Will all our love, your 'Cherries on the Top'.
